FAQs

All CommBank customers who use their CommBank credit card or bank details when signing up to Amber receive a minimum $50 welcome credit spread across 6 months. From time to time, CommBank will send varying offers to eligible customers, for example CommBank Yello offers.

To see if you are eligible to receive further discounts and to view your personalised benefits, visit the CommBank Yello hub in the CommBank app.

During the sign up process, a success page will appear once you hit the final sign up button and confirm that your CommBank discount has been applied. The discount will also appear in your monthly bills as a line item and will display the end date.

If you signed up with your CommBank payment details, we will automatically apply the CommBank promo instead (as it has a higher value for you!). However, your friend will still receive their referral credit!

Feed-in Tariff Guarantee

  • Exclusive to CommBank customers who join Amber for Batteries: Get $100 cash back if over the first 12 months as an Amber for Batteries customer you achieved an average Feed-in Tariff that was lower than any other Feed-in-Tariff available in your network area over the same time period (where eligibility for the other offer does not also require purchase of a solar or battery system).
  • To claim this offer you must remain an Amber for Batteries customer for the duration of the 6 month period.
