1 February 2024, Melbourne: Amber has finalised its oversubscribed Series C round, closing with $29m to scale the business in Australia and focus on the international expansion of their battery and EV automation technology.
Adelaide resident Oscar Williams managed to save himself money by going green and signing up to energy provider Amber, which allowed him to just pay wholesale prices for a small cost of $15 each month for access to renewable energy.
In the last twelve months, Amber Electric raised both a Series A (Dec 2020) and a Series B (May 2021), grew their team from around 20 to over 50, automated and controlled hundreds of smart devices to use power at cheaper and greener times, and onboarded thousands of customers.
